This summer the weather hasn’t been too bad, mostly we have had mild days with a few exceptions, and today was one of those exceptions! Near where I live the temperature was recorded at hitting 44’C with high humidity, and by the time it came around to going out to preach the temperature hadn’t dropped all that much.

This all served to sap every bit of energy from my body before we even arrived to preach. I arrived in the city early since I had a meeting with a mate, and before we had even got out of the lift in the Myer centre he had given tracts to those who were riding the lift with us.

We met in King George as usual, and it was good to have a time of fellowship around the Word of God, and also to come together as a team and pray for the outreach that night. I have been more and more burdened with the necessity of praying for the outreach, while we fully rest on the Sovereignty of God in the salvation of souls, He still commands us to seek His face. I have been on many outreaches in Australia and overseas, where prayer has not been a central theme, and as I look back on these outreaches I cannot help but wonder if we were as effective as we could have been. Before we can preach the King’s message we should spend time talking to the King. Prayer is vital when it comes to evangelism.

The first preacher up for the night was Ryan Hemelaar, it was good to have him back on team since he has been away on a mission trip in Thailand for the past six weeks. At first I thought he would be rusty in his preaching since it had been a while since he had last done it, yet he preached as if he hadn’t ever stopped preaching.

For about forty minutes he expounded the gospel of Christ, and a good size crowd gathered as he spoke about how everyone has the knowledge of right and wrong written upon their conscience.

After Ryan finished preaching, then Andrew Hsu began. Not long into his message a young woman began to yell at him, and state that only 144 000 people will get to heaven, the rest of humanity will spend eternity on earth. By her arguments it was easy to recognise her as a Jehovah Witness. Andrew expounded the Scripture on how the Bible talks about eternity in either Heaven or Hell. But she would not listen, she just kept on shouting the teachings of the Watchtower. It was then that Andrew said “In the Old Testament it says: Whoever calls upon the name of Yahweh will be saved! But in the New Testament it says: Whoever calls upon the name of Jesus will be saved! Christ is the God of the Old testament!” Upon hearing this the woman turned and left very quickly. Just like many of those within the cults they leave when the truth is being presented, please pray for her, that God would open her eyes to the truth of the gospel.

The time was around 10:30pm when I stood up to preach. Before I even began to speak to young hecklers began to open up on how God does not exist, so I turned to them and asked them to present their case on why they don’t believe in God. This caused a couple of Satanists who were sitting on the ground in front of me to start yelling as well.

It wasn’t very long before God had brought a crowd in to hear the discussion, but as I watched the crowd gather it dawned on me that this was going to be a rough open air meeting. The reason behind this was because everyone in the crowd sat down on the ground, and history has shown that whenever you get a large sit down crowd then you can be assured that something will erupt.

I dealt with hecklers for a few minutes when a young woman approached me to ask a question. In her hand she was holding a cup full of an orange liquid, a thought ran through my mind as she spoke, and that was in a few moments that liquid would be on me. Her question was a loaded one, and every time you get this question you know someone is looking for a fight, the question was “What does God think about homosexuals?” I knew I had to answer, and I knew the moment I did the crowd would erupt, but as preachers we aren’t called to please men, but rather we are to please God, so I opened the Bible and pointed out that God views homosexuality as an abomination.

This sent the young woman into a fit, she bean to scream that she hated me and that she would cut me up and kill me. I replied that if God grants her that authority then she can, but until that time God will not allow her the power to kill me. She then turned and threw the whole cup of orange liquid at me. I saw it coming so I was able to turn a bit, this cause the liquid to splash across my chest and then continue on behind me. The only problem was that Andrew and Dan were standing right behind me, so they ended up getting wet as well! It turns out that this liquid was vodka and orange juice, and for the rest of the open air I smelt like a pub!

The action of throwing the vodka then set the crowd into a frenzy, the cry went out “50 points to whoever can hit him in the head!” The crowd cheered and began to throw things at me, they threw bark and rocks. But the most interesting was that they were throwing money at me, the problem was they were aiming at my head. This caused me to duck and put my arm up to shield my head as I was pelted with projectiles.

While people were throwing stuff at me I was able to walk through the complete gospel with a young person who stopped to listen. While I spoke about sin the crowd didn’t do much but throw things, but the moment I got to the cross they began to yell and shout as well. One could clearly see the enemy was all over this situation, and you could see that he did not want the gospel to go out. In those situations all you can do is stand firm and continue to preach the Gospel!

It wasn’t long after this the police came and the crowd quieten down a bit, the police took a man away for drinking in public and as the officer left he held up the alcohol and yelled out “The evils of drink!” This cause the crowd to boo the officers.

The rest of the night was fairly tame, except for the guy who tried to burn me with a cigarette lighter, and the Pentecostal preacher that told everyone that they were children of God, and on the way to heaven. It got a little bit more interesting when that same Pentecostal preacher then physically assaulted Andrew in front of the crowd while speaking in tongues! This event cause the police to go after the Pentecostal preacher in order to arrest him for assault. I made sure to stress to the crowd that the man was not a Christian, since a Christian does what the Bible says. This seemed to get the respect of the crowd.

It was an interesting night in all. Many got to hear the gospel of the good news of salvation in Christ alone.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Reader, if you are a Christian, and therefore Love and Obey the Lord, please listen to my request.
Please pray for a young man named Ash.

Ash is a young man
He has been returning back to the Open Air preaching site over and over again, during the last 14-15 months that I have been preaching at Surfers Paradise. His heart seems to be hardened against the gospel, and his soul seems to be filled with bitterness and hate towards other human beings. I don't want to say too much about him, so that I don't embarrass him, but please take me at my word, that this young man needs a lot of prayer. Please pray for his salvation.

Young Ladies need prayer
The young ladies of Australia, seem to be consumed with sexuality, dressing perversely for the lustful eye, and seeking the affection of those around them, while spurning the audience of those, that they take no pleasure in. Please pray for the young ladies of Australia. I met with a young lady in the Open Air Preaching, and she was very frustrated by the law of God. When the law enters, people get upset. Please pray for this young lady and her friends, who laughed off the presentation of the gospel.

QUOTE: "It is our duty to pray for all who trouble us; to desire the salvation of all men." [John Calvin]

God in my perception, was doing something special this Sunday
There has been a lot of hard ground being broken up, by preaching week after week in Surfers Paradise, and today we saw the softening of many peoples hearts. A lot of people seemed to be really open to the gospel of Christ, and its defense as the only logical world view that lines up with reality. Please continue to pray for the people passing through Surfers Paradise on Sunday afternoon. It is exciting to watch God's Spirit move obviously to us, during the evangelism efforts of His people. Often I suspect we do not know of His work, and it is precious to observe Him working when he lets us perceive the work he is doing in people's hearts.

An Unfortunate Scene
Unfortunately, while preaching to a small gathering, a man of about 28  removed his shorts and  mooned me for about  10 seconds. He seemed to have no shame doing this in front of little children, which was a real pity. I cautioned him, that his actions were criminal, and that the police could arrest him for indecent exposure in front of children. Please pray that these sorts of incidents would be prevented by God, for at least the children's sake.

A Little Child
There was a young girl of about four or five, who wandered around taking bibles and disappearing. I have no idea what she was doing, but I suspect she might have been binning them, since I found one bible on the ground later with a page ripped out. This is disrespectful, but not uncommon amongst people, who are intolerant of others, and seem only to respond immaturely by bring force to bear to silence a person they disagree with, or destroy property to express their annoyance. The little children learn quickly, and find it fun to copy-cat.

Workers for Christ's Glory
Ryan Hemelaar, and Keith Rochford, both preached today; and Nate tracted the area.

It is good to see men, who are faithful to evangelism under authority, and will do their utmost for the glory of God in a team environment. Please pray for us, that we might have humility of heart, and opportunity to present the gospel and defend it freely at Surfers Paradise. Please pray that God will bind us together in love, that we might be known as true disciples of Christ Jesus.

If I may offer a final prayer request, please pray that we might be guided by God, to present solid common-sense gospel introductions and presentations, that the people will understand and be willing to listen to. We are men, we fail, we need God's help unquestionably. Without Him, we can do nothing.

Faithfully, for the Salvation of the people who visit and live in Surfers Paradise each Sunday,

For Christ and His Covenant,

For the glory of God,

What a perfect day out preaching there was a light breezes out 2day and the sun was shining bight.  I was running a little late but by the time I got there it was just Warren and myself out ready to preach the word of God.

So we prayed and got straight into it, so the sun beat down there were alot more than normal people taking the tracks but still not to many wanting to get involved in a 1-1 conversation.  Mike from the Redcliffe City Counsel was already there when we reached the end of the pier, and came straight up and asked how we were doing, so then watched us the whole time as he was patolling the pier waiting for the kids to come and jump.  He is quite happy with us out there preaching. AMEN

As we moved through the folk out for there quite walk in the sun we were able to give out near on 50+ tracts this week.

Then the dolphin watching boat arrived and they had a full load so Warren and I were able to tract the whole boat including the operator (again).

We then started to move off and head home continuing to hand out all the way back to the car.

Praise God for the Word of God to go forth in the field of Redcliffe.  And please Pray for more labors to work on the field.

Dan

Word of thanks: I would like to personally proclaim thankfulness for the police officers of Surfers Paradise, who did a fine job of protecting the public from a man recently released from NSW prison. Unfortunately, I did not catch the officer’s names, but God knows who they are.

Here is a brief overview of events today:

God exalted, in the darkened minds of sinners who realised their great need for Christ.

Foreigner hears gospel for first time, and tears up during preaching.

Keith Rochford successfully exalted the knowledge of God, while debating a strong-willed atheist.

Large crowds gather to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ preached and defended.

Large numbers of public, enthusiastically shake hands with Christian gospel preacher.

A popular myth: “The Church is the place for Christian’s to preach”

Much Much more, but don’t have time to share it all with you.. J

The Report:

Today was an overcast day, but we risked the weather, trusting in God to provide the weather we needed to preach His gospel. It was windy, it was a little rainy, but despite what might have been deemed by some as “dreary”, people stayed and listened.

This has surprised me a lot lately, because most people seem to be really thirsty to hear the truth and logical reasoning of the Christian faith, even though they are getting wet in the rain. God is working curious things in the hearts of men. It is no surprise really, since the secular world is offering no particularly good answers to the great philosophical questions of life. And people want answers, they are not satisfied.

It is no longer good enough, for them to hear claims such as: “There is no such thing as truth”, or “Millions and millions of years ago, the big bang..”. God appears to be waking people up, from the dreamy and impossible world of Atheistic Evolution, where no one is accountable for their actions.

Please pray that God will give us boldness to proclaim the truth, in humility and meekness of mind, that we might properly exalt the risen Lord Jesus to a lost and dying humanity. We need you praying beloved.

The first lady I had the delightful experience of speaking with Open Air, was a European visitor. She openly believed that she had a good heart, and that she believed it. Over and over again, we looked at her sin, and accountability to God, and then eventually the penny dropped. While approaching the gospel, she began to cover her eyes with sunglasses, and as I had the privilege of sharing the gospel of Christ Jesus with her, she began to wipe her eyes. I pray that God will grant her repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, that she may recover herself from the snare of the devil.

Keith Rochford, our new Surfers Paradise 2IC, was next up preaching. Keith did a fine job revealing the fraudulent claims of the Evolution theory. He instantly had a small gathering of the public that began dialoguing with him. This was the beginning of a large gathering of humanity, who were curious, and asking lots of really good and profound questions. Keith handled himself very well, thanks be to Christ who does in us His will and good pleasure. Many were contented to stay and listen.

Shortly, we were pleasantly engaged by a very vocal Atheist, who did his best to employ almost every common atheistic argument I have heard in my life. Keith handled them well, and showed the nice fellow the failure of Atheism as an intellectual position. That indeed Atheism, exalts itself against even the simplest of reasoning, and is really an attack on God’s very existence. This is always an interesting topic, because people, for some reason or another, seem to think that Atheists are the answer to the Christian message.

I stepped up to preach after Keith gracefully took a variety of questions, and responded to the best of his ability. One of the beautiful things, about having a preaching partner, is you get to catch the questions your partner missed and answer them. We do this for each other all the time.

I have noted over and over again, how a heckler will come in, and try to throw as many difficult questions in, not allowing time for response and then walk off. It makes some listeners, think the heckler was right and the speaker must answer those questions, so that damage is not done to the overall presentation. We of course, don’t mind the extra work, because it leaves a further opportunity to show the validity of the claims of Christianity.

After responding to some Muslims who said all religions are the same, and disproving that statement from the Koran’s own quotes against History. I moved on, to answer the remaining questions of the crowd. It was at this time we had an interesting fellow arrive.

Earlier on in afternoon, while Keith was preaching, I heard a strange hysterical laughter coming from one side of the crowd. It was a large Samoan man. I thought it strange, because there was absolutely no reason for the loud laughter.

This fellow came into the crowd, and began to yell profanity at me, and express his emotions about religions very loudly. I requested that he not swear because of ladies and children that were present. I am often compelled to pity for people, when they do this, because we never know that these people have not suffered from some kind of abuse at a young age, by the hands of people posing as Christian. I have heard many cases of the damage done by hypocrites in the modern church, wolves in sheep’s clothing. While I understand all humanity is in sin, I also know that sinful men have abused others. That abuse has caused deep long-lasting wounds that only Christ can heal, through repentance to God and trust in Jesus for salvation, against God’s wrath at sin.

I paused for a long time, to let this man get his emotion off his chest, but for some reason he kept on pacing and was unreasonable and didn’t want to talk to me. I addressed the crowd with the answer to the question, using greater volume, for their benefit, since the fellow kept on yelling profanity.

It was at this moment that the two members of the Surfers Paradise Police entered and one distracted the drunken Samoan, and one asked me to come away and have a chat.

Shortly after, the team disbanded to go home, since we had reached our decided finished time of 3:45PM. I was very encouraged by the large numbers of men who came up to me and quietly thanked me for sharing my piece and shook my hand and asked me to keep up the good work.

If only they understand, that it is not I that am good, but Christ who lives in me.

I must answer one objection that the church is the proper place for Christians to preach. Quite, the contrary, all Christians are commanded by their master Jesus, to preach the gospel to every creature, and teach them all things that he has commanded.

It is a common misconception, that the exercise of the Christian faith is bound to a church building. This is simply not so. The Christian religion is exercised most properly in obedience to Christ, through public preaching of the gospel. I quote the Lord Jesus from the bible:

“Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

“Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

“Matthew 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” {Emphasis mine}

So readership, I thank you for your prayers, and pray to God, that he will raise up more labourers for His work.

Eternally Christ’s,

For Christ and His Covenant,

For the glory of God,

We found Fargate full of people when we arrived this week to witness to Christ, again some sort of carnival was happening. We bumped in to Cedric, a lovely faithful witness who is out working the streets of Sheffield more often than not and a great encouragement to us. This 86 year old gent was out witnessing for the first time this week, it had taken a severe bout of illness and a couple of days in bed to stop him from coming out! May we be like Ced in our old age, even in our current age!

After a period handing out tracts in Fargate we headed up to the peace gardens to witness to the Goths and emos who gather there. This week we spoke with Sid, Olivia, Sophy, Tamara and friends, pray for them as they hear the gospel week after week that God would free them from their slavery to sin.

As we were headed back to Fargate we spoke for a long period to a group of young girls who proved that there is no age limit on hardness of heart and willful unbelief in the face of evidence. These girls believe that there is no God and despite the moral, teleological, historical and logical evidences that we put forward they ended our discussion with them saying there was no God and that we had given no proof of Him. Yet it is written:

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their measuring line goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. (Psalms 19:1b-4a)

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. Have those who work evil no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God? There they are, in great terror, where there is no terror! For God scatters the bones of him who encamps against you; you put them to shame, for God has rejected them. Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, Let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad. (Psalms 53:1b-6)

We went down to the mall and preached there of God's greatness and our great sinfulness and the great and only saviour Jesus Christ. At the end of the preaching Aaron and his girlfriend stopped and Aaron who we had spoken to before invited his girlfriend to do the good person test. While Anna was talking with her, Aaron spoke to me and I again gave the gospel to him and showed him his great sin. Aaron's friends arrived shortly and again the pattern repeated itself. Please pray for Aaron, Lamhal, Danni and their friends that God would work the miracle of new life in these who are spiritually dead.

Manchester Wednesday 30th

Wednesday started in Manchester with the fellowship and fine food of Kevin’s house, he had kindly invited Josh and myself to brunch and we were very well fed! Thank you for you hospitality Kevin.

In town we met up with Dale and Allan from up north and David (a local of Manchester). The main area we focused on was Market Street where there is a constant flow of traffic throughout the day. We began with tracting the people passing through the tram stop area at the top of Market Street, there were many tracts going out but not as easily as in Newcastle. A couple of one-to-ones were happening but as they finished we moved down the mall to preach in the central section where would be able to reach as many people as possible.

Open air mission is a group that have been preaching in the streets of England for some time and they were preaching in the mall as we passed through. While some of the team continued to tract the area some of us stopped and encouraged them in their work and gathered around to hear the gospel preached. Along with these men we also saw a few men from the local Brethren church also preaching later in the day. God be praised that in this land there is a tradition of street preachers and that there are people still willing to risk public scorn for the honour God gives. Pray that the other street preachers of Britain would be bold in their proclamation and faithful to the word of God.

Dale preached a little further down the mall and did an excellent job of dealing with his heckler and not distracted at all proceeded to preach the gospel to all in earshot. Those who heard included two young emos that David spoke with, after their discussion these two young men took tracts and one of them a bible promising to read it. Also there were two charity workers who spoke with Kevin and myself, Natasha spoke with me and was visibly shaken by the prospect of hell and judgement, she took a tract and promised me that she would read the bible she had at home and seek the Lord.

We escaped the cold wind of the mall to get some lunch and warm up in a local book shop/cafe. Kevin took us after lunch to see P52, the oldest known fragment of the new testament extant. I was utterly flabbergasted to see such a thing, God is so amazing in the way that He gives proof after proof to doubtful and sinful mankind and we largely ignore them.

Kevin was the first preacher up after lunch and again I had the privilege of listening as the gospel of my Lord sounded forth to the world that needs it so badly (especially me). After this Josh was to preach and then last of all I would, God had other plans. As Josh preached a few people gathered and listened and some came and went at first but soon there was a large crowd of 50 or more people standing and listening to the gospel. I watched from the back of the crowd the numbers swell further as one heckler then 3 and 4 hecklers at once began to yell questions. As the preaching continued I ran out of one type of tracks and began with another and by the end was wondering if I would have enough! Josh fielded questions from atheists, Muslims, drunks, quasi-scientists, and Jews. Praise God that his voice held for the hour and a half of preaching, praise God that so many gathered to hear of the saviour! May they take the gospel of the saviour with them and cleave to Him only.

The preaching was not without opposition though, a complaint was made during it that Josh was preaching an anti-Semitic message. The council officers that came to check the complaint not only didn't find anything that was a problem with the preaching but they also took tracts! May God draw them to salvation.

The other consequence was that a couple of Christians came to listen and were greatly encouraged. We were able to encourage them further and give them information on how to witness biblically. If you are wanting to know more yourself check www.operation513.com.

We ended the day on this high note and went home rejoicing in the great work of the Lord and the great saviour we trust in. Pray that this would be only the smallest of beginnings in the work of the Lord in our time, pray earnestly that the Lord of the harvest would raise up labourers, pray that the great name of God would be glorified!

Soli Deo Gloria!

Newcastle (Jordy Land) January 28th

With a carload of evangelists I drove the up the scenic A1 to Newcastle, with me was Josh, Peter and John (a sheffield mate from our church). We went first to meet Jim Mcmaster of Living Waters Europe (the Godly man who supplies our tracts) and a couple of other local evangelists.

At the Living Waters office we met Allan, Dale and Joyce who live in northern England who had come to join our micro-outreach. After a short time of fellowship and stocking up on tracts we headed to witness in the center of town. In town it appears that there are a network of pedestrianised streets that are constantly busy and also the monument, a large column that acts as a loitering area especially on saturday and sunday.

Today our focus was to be the main mall rather than the monument as the mall was full of people. When we had gotten into town we set about tracting the constant stream of people, as we did so many one-to-ones where happening. I almost immediately had a group of college age girls ask what the tracts were about, from this a 30 minute conversation followed in which they heard both the law and the gospel given as clearly as I could. As always there were objections and I answered from God's word as best I could but it became clear that while they were concerned about sin and it's consequences they were clinging to it. They left for college and I pray that they have time to read the tracts I gave them and that God would do a work of regeneration in them. The conversations were going on all around me as I saw the team at work, the Jordies were very friendly when compared to Londoners.

First up to preach today was Dale who witnesses in Workington and Carlisle, he is relatively new to open air preaching but despite this did a solid job of preaching the gospel of hope. Peter and I also preached and though the interactions with people were few there were some who stayed to listened to what was said and wanted to talk to team members afterwards.

After a lunch break in the much appreciated warmth of a fast food joint we went at it again and it was amazing to see how many tracts were given out in such a short time. God be praised that He opened the way for the gospel to get into these people's hands!

Josh preached nearby a British army recruitment stand and a reasonable sized crowd gathered to hear him speak. While Josh preached I gave one of the local touters a tract and then was occupied reasoning with this nominal Catholic about his faith and his need for a saviour not the good works that he was currently trusting. We parted on good terms and he promised me that he would consider carefully what we had talked about. As I came back to listening to the gospel again Josh was just closing and as the one-to-ones started with the crowd I chatted with Josh. To my alarm he told me that he was tasting blood in his mouth as he finished preaching! I told him that he must rest his voice for the next couple of days, otherwise there might be permanent damage done.

John was next up to preach and did a fantastic job presenting the gospel loud and clear. Towards the end there were two hecklers that started to have a go at him, one denouncing him and Christianity and the other demanding proof for God. John tagged me into the preaching and I called out Nathe', to discuss with him the proofs for God and the bible being his word. This did not satisfy Nathe' and so a discussion of evil and God's ability to do any thing about it followed. A crowd gathered to hear this appologetic discussion and so I tried to give the gospel as part of the discussion. It became clear that Nathe' loved his sin and that was why he would not and could not even acknowledge God. In the end I pointed him to the saviour and pleaded with him to flee from the wrath of God, otherwise the consequence of his personal evils would be God's condemnation of him. I stepped down to speak with him further after encouraging the crowd to speak with the team. While this was going on Josh had grabbed the other heckler and engaged her also endeavoured to answer her questions and give her the gospel again. The rest of the team where all hard at it in one-to-one's and some great conversations were happening.

As it was now getting colder (it was already freezing!!) we headed home giving out tracts as we went. Praise God that He got the gospel into so many hands today and pray that He would work to convert the souls of the Jordies that received it.

Saturday 26th The Trip Home

On saturday we headed north by train and it was a welcome break to be able to stop for a period and read or just chat and joke about nothing much. On the way home the train was delayed and we changed at Derby, a minor frustration that bore an interesting fruit.

Charlotte had been on the same train as us and struck up a conversation with us as we changed. She continued to chat with Anna and I as we got on the next train and so Anna took the opportunity to ask what her religious background was. Charlotte came from a catholic background and had left that due to the hypocrisy that she saw and what she saw as unjust judgement of people. She now was of no fixed faith and took a little from everyone of them to suit her desires. Anna asked her if she would mind if she (who was also from a catholic background but Christian) could explain to her what the bible says. Charlotte accepted and so Anna showed her that the only one who has a right to judge the sins of the world is God and from this opened up the law of God and its demands on us all. It was clear to me that Charlotte could see her sin was an offence to God but she continued to listen and Anna then pointed her to the only hope which is the atoning death of Jesus Christ on the cross to satisfy the wrath of God at sin. Anna told her also of our hope with God in Jesus who rose again and lives standing to be our advocate in heaven. At this Charlotte abruptly left and we prayed and continue to pray that she would be saved in and through Jesus.

We got back home safely with our two guests, a big thank you to all those who were involved in the London outreach. God bless you and make you fruitful in the work He gives you.

Wow what a windy day.  Arriving out there at the pier, Chris and I had Warren Beethem join us for the first time which was a blessing as he has been out on the City team (www.xanga.com/Josh_Williamson) for a few years so he has the experience. Great to have you working with us Warren.

So after our pray we made our way out to the pier and tracting anyone that made there way out there and try to engage in a conservation, and showing Warren the ropes. It was a very quite day out there so we talked of a few spot where we might be able to start open airing now that we are able.

At about 3:30 the Dolphin watching boat came in maybe because it was so ruff out on the bay, so we were able to tract the people as they step off the boat, even the guides love having grabbing them to have a read.

After the they had al left the pier was near on empty there was hardly anyone around, so i decided to call it a day and move on. It was a great day and I'm loving the fact that we are able to work for God in caring out the Great Commission, wow what a privilege.

Thanks guys for the hard work even through we are all tried, great working with you all.

God Bless

Dan

Saturday - Monday (the prologue)

Many things that happened on this outreach will not be included in these reports, apologies beforehand if I forget names or details. I believe that Josh Williamson and Kevin Williams have also got reports going up soon.

On Saturday morning we arrived in south London after a long trip down from Sheffield. We spent some time catching up with Robert, Peter and Josh at Robert's house (he was kind enough to allow us to stay at his house over the weekend). From there we all headed back into London to do some site seeing and witnessing. On the tube to Wesley's chapel Josh preached to the people riding the tube, it had to be short because of the distance between stops. Afterwards almost everyone took tracts and we had to scoot out of the train as it was our station.

We found much to our disappointment that the chapel and house of John Wesley were closed for the afternoon and also the graveyard bunhills field was also closed. What is a greater disappointment to us is the fact that the Methodist church, that Wesley and other Godly men began, is currently ordaining homosexual men and women to preach. This goes directly against what Wesley believed and more importantly against what the bible teaches us.

Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?
(1 Timothy 3:2-5)

How can a homosexual of any gender be the husband of one wife and above reproach (before man or God)?

We left this sad scene of decay and went to Tower Hill, the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. At the top of Tower Hill Robert preached, people stopped to chat and again the people present took tracts gladly (and politely!). As Josh took photos of the tower and the bridge we stopped beside the entrance to the tower and I began to preach on the traitors of mankind in their duty to mankind. I was interrupted by one of the beefeater guards who informed me that I was preaching on private land and must stop. I wrapped up quickly and stepped down as we didn't know if we were on private land or not. After a little more tracting we headed home for dinner and rest.

Sunday morning came around bright and mild (surprising to say the least in winter!), Josh and Peter went to the Metropolitan Tabernacle and with Rob's younger brother James we headed to Trinity Road Chapel. The Chapel is in Tooting and had offered us the privilege of staying at their church hall for the week's outreach, a very generous offer we gladly accepted. At the church we met the pastor Doug McMasters and many others and were very warmly welcomed into the church. During the service I made a small presentation of what we were doing during the week and thanking the church for their support. I also asked for their prayers and support, something we always have need of (please take note if you're reading this!!!).

After an excellent sermon we had a fellowship lunch with the church family, meeting many friendly faces. From this time another member was added to the team for part of the week. Joe approached me after the service and asked to join us for the start of each day and I gladly agreed.

We traveled from here to speakers corner in Hyde park to have a look at the preachers that gather their each week to give the Gospel. When we arrived there were many preachers, some giving the gospel of Christ, a couple of muslim apologists, others atheistic speaches, and others just having a rant. We just mingled with the crowd for a while but pretty soon Rob, James and I were all drawn into debates with muslims. I debated far too long and too loud against the assertion (with only the qu'ran and man's faulty logic to back it) that Jesus could not be God and that the incarnation is a lie. Yet it is written:

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John bore witness about him, and cried out, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.'") And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
(John 1:14-18)

Day One Tuesday 22nd

Tuesday began with everyone full of enthusiasm and ready to witness so after devotions and breakfast we trooped off to the local tube station and headed to Leister square. On the way many of the team where able to witness to people on the train and going to the train many tracts were given to the locals, this became the standard approach for the team for the entire outreach.

There were relatively few people in the square when we arrived, so we began tracting the people passing through. During this time one-to-ones began to start as people wanted to know about the tracts. Anna began a discussion with one of the local law officers who didn't want us to stop but rather wanted to discuss his eternal destination. Rob H, Barnabas, and myself also had good conversations with people and the gospel was proclaimed in written and verbal form as the team worked down through the square.

At the ticket booth for discount tickets there was a line of people waiting and so Rob H and Josh both preached to the staff and their customers. As often is the case one of the listeners didn't like the conviction of their sinfulness, and so a member of staff yelled abuse while the preachers out of love told of Christ's work to save him if he would turn from his sin and have faith.

We walked the short distance into Trafalgar square, intending to witness to the crowds in the square. While the team was tracting all of the passing people and many one-to-ones where going on, Josh and I set up a preaching post at the base of the wall for the National gallery. Josh preached and while no-one stopped for long a camera crew working the area heard God's righteous demands and of their sinfulness and of the risen saviour Jesus Christ. As Josh finished the team continued to tract the area and offered them to the film crew also.

After a break in the warmth of the gallery we moved the preaching post to facing the gallery hoping to preach to those going there. Rob began to preach and was doing excellently until his voice showed the strain of his recent flu  and he was forced to stop, another preacher down and out for the day! Josh tagged into the preaching and engaged a young American Jew named Simon. He went through the law with Simon revealing his sin before God, and gave him the glorious gospel showing God's great mercy and grace.

Afterwards a catholic man came wanting to discuss the preaching with Rob and Josh, so while this was happening Kevin got up and preached further to the crowds. He did an excellent job and the team were giving out tracts at a rate of knots. The team continued to tract and one-to-one in the square until lunch, during this time I was able to engage a group of four youth and share with them the good news, please pray for Sam, Kim, Jack and Joe and the many other people who heard the word s of eternal life.

After lunch at marble arch we all headed for Paddington, but due to many delays and a stop to get supplies we were at the tube station exactly when Josh was due to do phone fishing for Way of the Master Radio. We split the team and some headed to Tower hill and some staying for phone fishing.

During the interviews for the radio show a man begged David for some cash as he was on the street, responding to his greater need David began to witness to him. When the conversation was over the man was in tears repenting of his sin!! Praise God that He works in the hearts of men and brings new life to those dead in sin! Pray that he will continue on in the faith and find a good church where he will be built up and taught well.

Meanwhile the other part of the team arrived at tower hill at exactly the right time to have Peter preach to the “Jack the Ripper” tour group before they left for their tour. After the preaching almost every team member had a cluster of people around them asking questions as they again proclaimed the gospel. Praise God that many took tracts and a couple even took bibles. Pray that God will use these and the preaching of His word to convict of sin and call the lost to the saviour.

Day Two Wednesday 23rd

Today’s focus was on the Tooting area and we planned to preach at Robert’s local preaching point and do door to door witnessing around the church.

First stop of the day was Tooting Broadway tube station where we proclaimed the word to those passing and Peter preached the gospel clearly to the crowds as they went to work. During this time the team ensured that many tracts were given out and I saw some one-to-ones happening and the gospel going out to the many who are on the broad way to distruction.

We packed up after the morning rush and headed back to Trinity road to knock on doors around the church. We had with us packs holding literature and bibles supplied generously by the Trinitarian Bible Society, information about the church and of course a gospel tract. Most    people welcomed these packs and by the time we had done only a couple of streets around the church we had almost exausted our supply. During this time Anna had quite a few good conversations, she was able to speak with a lady who's husband goes to the church cafe. David had someone invite him back to chat some more the following day. Kevin also talked for quite some time with a muslim man in the drycleaners across from the church and he wants to speak further with people from the church.

After lunch we headed back down to Tooting Broadway where Robert preached (praise God his voice appeared to be improving!) to the passing crowds. Josh again had Way of the Master Radio phone fishing and I heard that there were some great interviews done.

For the rest of the evening the team handed out tracts and talking with the locals. As always I never see all the encounters that happen and there are more one-to-ones than I think, but I saw Josh reasoning with some Jehovah’s witnesses, David discussing eternity with some teens, and Anna bravely giving the gospel of hope to Deeno, a Muslim man who left convicted but clinging to the justification of Islam. I had the privileged of speaking with Rafique a French Muslim who unfortunately believes that he will be justified before God because of his good deeds and moral stance. I struggled to show him his danger before almighty God who will not be corrupt and ignore sin but rather will punish wickedness wherever He finds it.

The end of the evening was possibly the most encouraging of the day. We had one of the local police officers come up and say that they (the local police) need us to preach the gospel in the streets of Tooting more! Officer Hurley also asked us to pray for the police department of Tooting, that they would have more resources for their work. This coming from a non-Christian was encouraging to say the least; pray that the message she heard preached would convict and renew her heart by the Holy Spirit’s sovereign work.

Day Three Thursday 24th

This morning we headed to Tower Hill and planned to have the morning spent preaching to the tourists that gather to see the Tower and the nearby bridge. Unfortunately as soon as we arrived and began to witness to people the local manager of the area came and told us that we were not welcome and as it is private land we had to leave. So in accordance with Romans 13 we left and began witnessing at Tower Hill for the next hour.

From here we travelled over to Buckingham Palace to witness to the many people that gather there to take photographs. In front of the palace we had some excellent one-to-one conversations, amusingly Josh and Anna (both Aussies) both kept bumping into Australians. Josh began one conversation with a couple only to find that they were Christian religious education teachers from Perth! David had the rare opportunity of witnessing to a friend that had been a soldier in Iraq and was now open to hear the gospel after having seen so much death. I spoke with a young Swedish couple for half an hour showing them their sin under the microscope of God’s law that reveals all our sin. God be praised by the end of the conversation their mouths were stopped and they heard the glorious good news of the work of Jesus to save sinners. They took tracts and a bible as they left for their plane home. Pray for these young people, that God would sovereignly change and save them. Anna also spoke to an asian man named Minh who heard the whole gospel and left with a bible.

Kevin then preached on the steps of the monument in front of the palace and loudly proclaimed the sovereignty of God over all of us, exulting the great name of God the king over all kings. During the preaching the many tourists in the area sat or stood watching and listening to the message of hope, we praise God that he made it possible for them to hear and pray they would receive the preached word and flee to the saviour.

After Kevin finished preaching the team gave tracts to the gathered people and again many one-to-ones started. At this point the police arrived to ask what we were preaching in front of the palace, on hearing the message they said there was no problem with us preaching there and then gave us permission to preach in Westminster if we wished. The only request the officers made was that we give them notice the next time we intend to preach and that we stop for today, which was fine as we were about to head home anyway.

After a long break in the afternoon the team headed to Leister square to preach to the crowds that gather for a night of west-end entertainment. Joining us for the evening was Allan and a friend from his church, it is always an encouragement to have others with us and we were grateful for them coming. Rob was first up preaching and while he proclaimed the law of God and the gospel a crowd gathered to hear him. Engaging one of the listeners Rob went through the good person test with them giving a solid defence for the gospel against the objections and again his voice held as he preached (praise be to God!). After the preaching many one-to-ones began and one interaction that was interesting was between Rob and a member of a well-known heavy metal band. Though not a Christian, this guy was happy to hear the gospel preached and encouraged Rob to continue preaching in Leister.

After the one-to-ones finished Josh preached, beginning with the stalker that we all have – death. While speaking of our uncertain position in this world and the judgement to follow, a man named Dave heckled Josh. This began a long series of hecklers and a crowd gathered around for most of the preaching many taking tracts as they left, may God use what they all heard of the gospel even if in part only. The objections raised were mostly the standard ones: ‘there is no God’, ‘science and evolution disproves the bible’, ‘what about suffering and other religions?’ etc.

The rest of the team was busy working through the crowd to give out as many tracts as possible and talk with those on the fringes. I had three interesting encounters, one encouraging and two not so encouraging. The discouraging encounters were with ‘Christians’, one deneighs the bible and God even though studying theology at Eaton. His knowledge had puffed him up with pride and the gospel was not welcome in his life and sadly he left scoffing. The other was the sadder encounter was with a young man who openly admitted to drunkenness, promiscuity, drug abuse and blasphemed God’s Holy name as we spoke. Despite this he claimed to be a Christian because he had been taught this from the pulpit and by the people of a well known charismatic church. In an attempt to show him that he was deceived I reasoned with him from the bible taking him to:

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:8-10)

All of this he laughed off or jeered at and le ft as he informed me that the team and I were not Christians. I could not help but think of the responsibility of those who had taught this young man to embrace sin and formalism, surely he will curse his pastors for not giving him the truth if his end is eternal punishment.....

Encouragingly I also saw a homosexual couple standing near me as the preaching was happening, one partner was trying to pull the other away but he would not leave wanting to stay and hear the gospel. As they left I gave the man wanting to stay a tract and the look on his face was of deep conviction, he immediately began to read. God is sovereign and will call who He will!

Anna spoke to one of the local sign holders who was nearby, I think that he must have gotten the gospel from almost every member of the team! During the preaching she also spoke with two young muslim men Esam and Ash, both of them were under heavy conviction of sin after hearing the gospel. Anna had offered them both bibles and though at first they did not want them, after about half an hour these same young men came back wanting the Word of God! Not only that but they took the details of Trinity Road Chapel. Pray that they would come to trust in the true saviour.

Two police officers also were walking throughout the crowd and listening during the preaching, I later found out that they were chasing pickpocket’s (God be praised for the authorities He has given us for our protection!). When Josh stepped down the officers approached him, and again I heard a street preacher commended by the law for his preaching. Not only this one of the officers wanted to know what he must do in order to be saved, Josh joyfully gave him the gospel again. As he left the officers was saying he would think on the matter and get right with God!

There were many other interactions that went on throughout the night but space does not permit them all. Needless to say the team went home rejoicing to have seen the Lord moving in Leister Square that night!

Day Four Friday 25th

The last day of the outreach is often the hardest with little energy left in anyone, but this day we again saw the Lord move to display His strength in our weakness.

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

First stop for the day was Westminster abbey where we met Rian, Dolph and Dolph’s two friends. In the area of the abbey we handed out tracts and discussed the gospel with all who passed. Dolph got into a conversation so in depth that he ended up walking several blocks with the people involved. Many tracts were given and I also saw Rian and David in conversations proclaiming the gospel. May God use the tracts and burn the message of sin, righteousness, and judgement onto the hearts of those who received tracts or who we spoke with.

The team travelled from Westminster to Covent Gardens, there a gain to speak the gospel and watch God gloriously work in the hearts of men and women. Halfway to the gardens Josh, Peter and my self were stopped by people wanting to know what the tracks were about. The man who stopped me had picked up one I didn’t even know I’d dropped! Michael asserted that there was no God and that the bible was outmoded when we began, by the end though it became clear through the law of God that he didn’t want to believe the evidence before him because he loved his sin. I gave him the gospel though he did not want to hear it, I hope and pray that God the Spirit will hound him until he submits to the Almighty One.

The rest of the team had gone onto the gardens and when we arrived they were already busy engaging in one-to-ones and handing out tracts. Anna was speaking with a young man from a charity organisation about the million pound question, would he go to heaven? Their conversation lasted some time and Anna contended for the faith and gave him the truth about himself and pointed him to the only saviour of sinners Jesus Christ. While this was happening a lady and her son who wanted to know more about the tracts stopped me. They were Christians and so I encouraged them to witness wherever they are and look for opportunities. The young man took a handful of tracts to give to his schoolmates, may God use him to witness in his school mightily!

Further into the gardens we set up a preaching point and Rob was up to preach first and as always gave a solid declaration of God’s word to this lost and darkened world. After Rob finished and the crowd dispersed I got up to preach for the first time in the outreach, I felt like Paul bringing no clever arguments and being nothing exciting as a speaker. I began to preach on evolution and how it makes a monkey of all who will swallow this fairy story masquerading as scientific fact. From this I began to speak on the law on our hearts and God’s just demands, enter Felix and his friends. Catching his gaze I called to Felix ‘YOU sir, are you right and good in the eyes of God?’, from here I poured out my heart to this young man. I spoke of the law, showing him his sinfulness and great danger before the Holy Judge, of his danger in death and of his uncertainty when that would be. He listened carefully as I spoke of the risen saviour that he must flee to for cleansing and forgiveness. He took the tracts I offered him and his friends and he left with a serious look on his face and a promise that he would seek God in prayer and in the bible. Exulting that God should use one as unworthy as me I closed and stepped down.

Josh got up to preach next and he spoke to the people Covent Garden of the stalker of death and the certainty of God’s just judgement of our every word, deed and idle word. A couple of people gathered around to hear the preaching and Josh challenged one man to give his perspective on the preaching. The man was a Muslim and so deneighed the deity of Jesus and accused Josh of preaching from a corrupted book. Josh pointed him to a greater problem he had, the book he sees as holy – the Qu’ran contradicts history. This is seen in Sura 4:157 where it is claimed that Jesus Christ was not crucified. This is a blatant contradiction of history, even the non-Christian historians Tacitus, Pliney, and Josephus agree with the claims of the bible that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified and rose from the dead three days later. Josh then questioned him, which would he believe a book written at the time of a major world event or one written 600yrs later? The man agreed that common sense demands you trust the eyewitness account and not the later account. Lastly Josh confronted him with the comparison between Jesus and Muhammad; Jesus walked on water Muhammad road a camel, Jesus said love your enemies Muhammad said kill the infidel (Sura 9:5), Jesus made blind men see Muhammad made seeing men blind, Jesus made lame men walk Muhammad made sound men lame, Jesus said bless the little children Muhammad slept with a nine year old (Eyisha whom he married when she was six and took sexually at nine according to the Ahadith).

At this point the preaching was interrupted by security guards who were concerned that the man gladly shaking the preacher’s hand was getting offended. So in accordance with Romans 13 Josh stopped preaching further but we made sure that the crowd all got tracts and spoke further with those who would.

We finished the outreach at this point, encouraged and exulting in what God had done but tired we made our way back to Trinity Road for one last night of fellowship before we all went our seperate ways home. Truly it has been written:

For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart." Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Therefore, as it is written, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 1:18-31)

Great day out today, Chris and I met at 2pm as the norm, prayed and started soul fishing.  Even though the council and been out and warned people for 'Jetty Jumping' and that there would be a fine of $150, there were still the same group of kids jumping.  So while tracting the people standing around I went and had a chat to afew of the guys that were jumping and warned them what was going on. there reply was "stuff them all I'm jumping".  So with no respect for the law I thought I'd ring the council and let them know that there were still kids here. As we continued to spread the gospel of Christ no one had turned up from the council.  It was 3pm and Chris had to leave early but I still hung around and was able to have a chat with a few people.

At about 4:30 i noticed that there was 2 police officers coming down the pier, then one of the kids saw then aswell, and yelled out to his mate that the police are coming.  I have never seen kids move so fast as that day trying to dry themselves and get a shirt on before the police made it to the end. They all got dressed just in time even though they were in seeing distance for the police. The police went straight to them and started to question them and then let them off with another warning.

By now because the police had come out and cleared the 'Jetty Jumpers' there was no one out there but me. So I started to make my way back in and handing out any tracks that I could.

Hey come join us out there and be involved in The great commission

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Just send me a email.
God Bless

Evangelism Report: 03/02/2008 Sunday Afternoon 1PM - 4PM
Beach Side, of Cavill Ave/The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise QLD

Thankyou to all those who came out to share the gospel of Christ, even though the police of late, have been taking away our freedom of speech.

I commend you for your bravery, for even the gentlest spirits will find they have powerful adversity, when they stand to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. And bravery is required, that men might turn from thier hardened ways of lying, stealing, raping, murder, hatred, lust, back-biting, and turn to the one living God who can change their hearts and desires for the glory of His great name, through the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary 2000 years ago.

Hard rain, and an uncertainty hung over us. We arrived and were drenched making our way to fellowship, and so quickly decided to break off to hand out gospel tracts, and planned to meet again. Keith pressed me to make a call regarding preaching, and I decided to give it a crack, hoping in God for good weather. Thanks be to God, we got it!

Standing to preach, a young man and his young lady friend held each other while he engaged me and asked questions. It is a pleasure to talk with so many polite, and easy going people on Surfers Paradise. There is always the odd few, who scream abuse for some unknown reason, or who belittle the preachers, but we must remain compassionate.

Why do some do this? It could well be that these same people may have been abused as children, by persons pretending to be christians, and so have intense dislike for those called by the name of Christ. For this reason, we are compelled by the love of Christ, to love these people and seek their betterment and the increase of their wealth.

Again there is a great many who have been decieved by ignorant teachers in High School, and lecturers at University, into thinking that christianity is not a viable intellectual option, but rather a distasteful thing, to be hated and ridiculed.. that christians might come into line with their way of thinking. From personal experience, this is a common attitude I encounter.

The only response I have found, is to treat each person with dignity, and teach them using reason, factual knowledge and logic, that the christian position (in reality), IS the only viable acceptable intellectual option when it comes to the big questions and answers in life.

It is sometimes difficult to treat another person who is insulting you, with compassion, but we are compelled to combat them with love and truth.. for the scriptures say and experience reveals, that men's minds are darkened, and they have been decieved. Therefore their attitudes and knowledge is all they have learned to know, and can only produce a defiant attitude, to the truth.. especially when the root cause of thier unbelief is gently exposed.. and it is always sin.

The one reason, a human being rejects the living God, is because he or she wants to rule thier own lives. They want to choose the amount of morality they will uphold, leaving room for thier particular sins. They don't want to be called out for what they are, and intensly dislike those who do so. Romans 1, 3, and John 3 reveal this clearly.

Our polite young man, reasoned that he was not concerned with the judgment of God, for he did not believe God existed. He went onto to explain that he believed evolution was true, and therefore there was no need for God. After a delightful discussion, the young man both acknowledged the existence of God, and that God ought to be angry at him for his sin.

After preaching the gospel he took a gospel tract, courtesy of Keith Rochford, and I am praying that God will grant him repentance to the acknowledging of the truth. Quite a few people were interested and stopped to listen, though not as many as normally.. and then Keith Rochford stepped up to preach.

keithrochfordKeith quoted scientist after scientist, who had called out the evolution theory as being baseless, and a fairy tale. He had a good discussion with some people who stopped to listen, and God was pleased to grant him a larger crowd than mine, for which I was very happy to see.

Keith asked the chap, who had stopped to dialogue with him, what proof he had for evolution. There was none to be had, which is to be expected.

We even had the pleasurable company, of two police officers who listened to Keith's gospel message, and we pray God grants them repentance toward God, and the Lord Jesus author's faith in thier hearts, they might one day see Him as he is, in heaven.

May your death be the result of being worn-out for Christ!

Thankyou to all my ones and ones of readers out there! I appreciate you all, and pray God uses you mightily for changing your communities into a place of right-living in Christ!

May the children be safe from terror,
May the people be safe in Christ
and may we be the ones walked-on, to get them there,

For Christ and His Covenant,

josh mitchell, pastor of Hallelujah Baptist Mission
